Unlike other companies who post “teaser" rates, usually preceded by words like "as low as" or “starting at”, we pre-qualify our merchants to accept credit cards. We answer each inquiry with a detailed quote on both rate and investment. There are no blanket discount rates which cover all business types. Each business is different. Some pose higher or lesser credit card processing risks to the underwriters.

For example, a merchant looking to accept credit cards with a smaller average ticket should be less concerned about the discount rate than the transaction fee. In some cases the credit card processing transaction fees can actually outweigh the discount rate.
Merchants that accept credit cards with a larger average ticket should be more concerned with discount rates rather than transaction fees.

Businesses like Adult Oriented, Audio/Video Text, Escort Service or Sports Advisories that accept credit cards pose a higher risk to the bank and will not qualify for credit card processing rates that a more traditional business will qualify for.
